Need Paint Code....
 

Hello All...

I need 2 paint codes off cars out there if I could..?

One is White Pearl....???

the other is White pearl Mica...?

One of these colors is slightly darker than the other...?

If anyone has a White SVX could you lok at the code on the car normally found under the hood at front of engine bay , and please post the code # here..? If you happen to have a Good clear pic of the car it would be good too.....:)

There was only one white color, available in 1992 and 1994. The color is known by two names, as are many of the SVX colors*

Manufacturer's paint code: 167

White Pearl
Manufacturer's paint code: 267

The original paint was a three stage process: The white base (groundcoat), the intermediate (midcoat) pearl (or "mica") second layer over that, followed by the clear topcoat. Most paint manufacturer's still use this three-part system, bur some are now combining the first two coats together, followed by a separate clear topcoat.

Claret was also known as Dark Red Mica
Dark Teal is also known as Peacock Blue Metallic
Ebony Pearl was also known as Black Mica
Liquid Silver was also known as Silver Metallic
