Oil coming out of the exhaust.

The racer has oil dripping (well more of puddling) out of an exhaust hole before the first cats. Any ideas. Running a little rough but there really isn't much blue smoke. Definately some white smoke but that could be from the bad gas/deet that is in it to get it up and running from sitting.

Idle is definately a little rough, no dash to see any dash lights:D :D :D , hesitates when stepping on the gas.

You should at least hook up your CEL so you can check for codes.

Ben,
given all the room you've got to check on the engine;) I'd suggest pulling the plugs to see what shape they're in...my guess is you'll find at least one that has some serious oil fouling (unless the SVX's super-duper coils are burning it all off the plugs, in which case you'll have to pull the plugs and see which holes have oil blowing out of them when you crank the engine over....).

Plugs are brand new so they probably won't have too much. It seems to have diminished so we'll see if it burns it off.

I don't think it'll hurt to pull the headers and clean everything out with brake cleaner.

If the oil is leaking less and less though, that's a good sign. Any plans to patch that exhaust hole? Some JB Weld outta do the trick. ;)

Come on, Ben, oil leaks are never a problem as long as you can pour more in faster than it drips out.
See you at the strip.

Ron.
