Is there any way of buying the R/C SVX?

I was looking through the lockers and I found these pictures of R/C SVX's. I found a thread but nobody knows where to get them. Obviously a clear frame.

If you look closely (and it was mentioned in the thread, I beleive) they are actually 300z bodies that have been modified to look like the SVX.

Look a where the trunk lid meets the read glass, you can see it there... as well as the way the rear quarter panels meet the tail light section of the car...

"300z bodies that have been modified to look like the SVX."

Does anybody know how to do that, or have a how to, or anymore info on them? It would be greatly appreciated! THANKS

I don't know of any more info than what is in that post. The guy mentioned never went on with a RC body either. If you find out anything, let us know. :)

Ha.

Maybe try to find a hobby shop to do it up? maybe find a 300Zx kit and paint it to look like an SVX.

they released a diecast in japan in 2007 a 1:43 scale

ive seen it on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tab%3DWatching

also a few years back a guy commisioned to have a model kit made. i have an extra unfinished model if your dying to get a miniature version of your car just flash it, assemble it and paint it up to look like yours.

anything else i think would have to be homemade or done on commision

Are you talking about the metal one that you have to put together. He sells them on ebay every once in a while? I got it but if its something else let me know. I also got 2 Norev 1:43's

I'll go to my hobby shop and ask them.

Does anybody on here have one or anymore :pics:

ensteele 11-20-2007 07:43 AM

I am only aware of the two that have been talked about here. The bigger R/C cars have not been available here. I don't know of any others. :)

Details on the kit please. Is it the 1/43 scale diecast?

yeah it is a diecast metal kit that needs to be fully assembled and flashed and painted and stuff. its probly the one you are thinking of. its about the size of the average computer mouse (mental note to fabricate svx mouse) the windows are a solid piece, the body is a solid piece, and the rims and tires and stuff are seperate, it has the wet stickers too for the lights and emblums and stuff.

its a small metal model kit i got a few years back on ebay.

just figured id offer some options to ya but you seem to be ahead of the game

good luck on the r/c

The only challenge I can see are the windshields, windows, headlights/corners and the tailights. I CAN fab the rest very easily.
Any ideas?
