Moisture in center grill

Is there a cure for moisture, water, condensation in the center grill lens?

I polished my center lens to get rid the yellow and now I can see moisture in it:mad: I had not noticed it before.

Re: Moisture in center grill

It's easy to remove, dry out and reseal. I replaced mine with a '97 grill, no fishbowl. ;)

I took mine out and let it sit on my heater overnight. That cleared it right up. :)

Mine was doing this. I found a tiny stone chip which led to a hairline fracture that I could barely see. A little clear silicone in the chip and pressed into the fracture made it all better. :)

Mike

Or you could try the "Lwin Method" and bake it.:D

I put mine in a warm oven and forgot about it. Henceforth to be called "pulling an Lwin". Anyway there was a noticable gap in the bottom seal letting water in, but I much prefer the new grill. :p

edit: btw, my hearty recommendation of www.paintscratch.com

Yes, you have to let it breathe. Check the clarity, then, sniff the bouquet. Swirl it around, just once then . . . . ah, Chateau Subaru, Vintage '92. Magnifique!
