Wheel Question
 

Newbie here, and I have a ??? about the chrome wheels on my 93 25th Anniversary model. The wheels are the stock wheel design, but appear to be steel wheels, as in HEAVY! I'm surmising they're steel from the look of spots of curb rash left by previous owner.
Question is: Did these wheels come on all the Special Edition cars? Earl, ahem.... Mr Steele, do you know?
I don't have any aspirations to go larger, but am considering finding some alloys to use on the car to lower unsprung weight when I replace the struts.

There were some SVXes that came with BBS wheels, but I think those were all non USDM SVXes. As far as I know, all the SVXes in the states came with the same 5 spoke alloy wheel.

Rota has a nice new 5-spoke wheel that weighs in at 11.8lbs if i remember right. reasonably priced, too.

I think the slipstream is only available in 15" diameter. Rota does make other wheels that would work though.

15 and 16. i'm looking for a 17, though.
