Strut tower brace?
 

Does anyone make one for the SVX? Or is this a custom one off project item...Hmmmmmmmmmm....Perhaps a fairly simple item to design and sell to......Oh I don't know? People on this web site? :D

I dont know if one would fit because of hood clearance. There isnt one made currently.

I've been looking at some engine compartment pics and it seems like it would probably be a waste anyway...The towers are right up against the firewall. Looks like it's already pretty damned solid.

I'm in the process of makeing one. There is room for one i test fix the one i'm building and it looks good.
i got half of the brackets cut out and the bar from a premade brace. hope to be finished by the summer but i have to find some one with a plasma cuter, other wise it takes a lot of griding.

Did you try closing the hood?

if you guys want to do a group buy I have talked with rallispec and they are interested. They quoted me at about 150 for a front tower brace. Probably need about 10 people. Let me know what you guys think.

dayle at motorsportswarehouse attempted to tackle this problem a few months ago. Fabricated a few different prototypes and asked for our opinions.

As you can see, there wasn't a lot of interest so he scrapped the idea.

I'm up for one from rallispec. They take credit cards which is cool.

Also they are local to me (and probably others here) so they can test-fit if needed. Heck I'd let rallispec hold onto my car for a week if they needed to test fit it.

Mike, what's up with the attitude? Braces come in all different colors/finishes. Perhaps you prefer one with a rainbow effect.

I'm just sick and tired of people on here who want freekin bling bling. Paint it whatever color you want. We just need to get em made. They are likely going to be 1 color 1 material and it won't be our choice what color/material it is.
