ABS light

What kinds of things cause the ABS light to illuminate? I know unplugging one of the harnesses will do it, but what else? I am getting some really strange action in the brake pedal lately, sometimes accompanied by the light and sometimes not. Sometimes it will only go down half way and then clunk the rest of the way down with more pressure added. Thanks.

Underneath the passenger seat, by the right seat rail, there's a flap of carpet you can lift up.

Count the blinks, and search for the codes. I know my brake pedal did that when it had a bent sensor, but what you feel is the ABS kicking in for one reason or another.

Isn't there an ABS diagnostic check?

The ABS diagnostic is in the how-to locker. ;)

thanks

Thanks again for the tips. I got 5 blinks so I swapped out the left front sensor, along with the hub assy, and all is well again. We'll see for how long.
