does anyone know where i can buy one?

i have been looking for one for the SVX because i dont like my windows fogging up all the time but i am having no luck

it works...but it doesn't get all the windows and part of the rear windshield's defrost doesn't work.

this seems to be the best thing i can find....

I am puzzled...:confused:

If your Air Conditioning is working correctly, you should not get foggy windows. I am getting mine serviced tomorrow, but today it's raining and the rear windows etc fog up.

Just use your A/C and it will keep the air in the car nice and dry.

This. + "recirculate" button. An A/C system is a dehumidifier. Having it recirculate means that it's re-dehumidifying the same air over and over.

Also, Sean, really good find on the frostfighter site. Lots of useful stuff.

the A/C DOESN'T work and i live in IL so i don't really need it for 8 months of the year...plus there are other things that need to be fixed...this is only like $25 that is why i was looking into it

add couple cans of r134a w/ oil and sealer for 10 bucks a piece and your ac will work (not the best it ever did but enough) for around a hundred bucks. if you look around you can find it cheaper i bought that gauge set for $17 bucks and the pump for $9.

step 2 charge a couple people $50 each to fix their ac and you got yours for free.

Fix the air conditioner... The air conditioner working correctly is part of the clearing of the frost on the glass year round.

actually your first step should be to locate the refrigerant leak, if that is the problem, and fix that first, then simply get it recharged.

the last guy that looked at it though it was coming from the compressor...he had a sniffer and it was coming from there

Sorry, the chances of there being any validity to that diagnosis are enormous.

Finding some "the last guy" that has any clue is so close to nonexistent that you could safely give "one million to one" odds against it.

you can charge it with some r134a that has dye in it then use a blacklight to look for where it leaked out. about the easiest way to find leaks with little money invested because it's probably going to leak out anyway.
