How do you add a photo to a thread without adding an attachment?

You mean so it will show up and not have a link that you need to click on? You need to go to the mountain icon above the area where you write the post and link to the picture that is saved somewhere, like your locker. :)

It doesn't even have to be in your locker. You can get the image address off almost any web page by right-clicking and choosing "Properties". Then just copy & paste.

Be aware that some web servers won't allow you to link to their images.

i have teh other problem. i don't know how to add an image as an attachment. :(

Go to the bottom of the page and click on manage attachments. :)
