There is a SVX for sale in the Pittsburgh area. Did you guys know the 93 anniversery edtion's top speed was increased to 155? lol so says this guy. I actually looked at this car back in September and the whole thing was very shady. It was first listed in the Carnegie area. When I called the gentleman said he did not know where it was at the present time. Odd huh? Turns out this his friend was selling it for him. After several failed attempts to look at the car, i finally met up with the "friend" to look at it. It was in great shape to tell you the truth. Body was damn near perfect. Something was wrong though. The idle was super rough, I mean like bouncing up and down rough. The "friend" said it had been sitting for several months and he would take it to the Subaru dealer to have it looked at.
I told him I was interested if they get the problem fixed. Needless to say the deal never worked out. It went from "it's getting fixed right now" to. "it needs the injectors flushed" to, "subaru dont know whats wrong with it." I had then contacted the owner and he had no idea where the car was or what was going on with it.

BUYER BEWARE

If anyone is interested in buying this car I can provide more info about my experience. I just thought the whole thing was very shady. Figured I would let you guys know

They made 301 of the AE models. No difference in speed from the 92s hough. :)

Looks like he got those numbers from that website he has linked :confused: The author of the linked page does mention he takes repsonsiblity for all the good and BAD info at the bottom of the page...wonder if he keeps it up still, maybe some people could send him some more accurate info.
