gas prices drop thread
The gas prices have been dropping down a lot from the past few days...last week. In this town, it seems that the gas stations keep dropping down their prices to compete with each other.
The cheapest regular 87 is now at 2.41/gallon at exxon and the premium 93 is at 2.61/gallon. I can't complain much now...at this price and every fill-up, I'm saving like $6 to $ 8 each time...that's like saving $60 to $80 per month compared to last two week. I'm kind of sure the sheetz will probably drop their gas prices lower than Exxon soon. :D |
yeah.. gas is down to 3.13 for 92 here yay! i can't wait til i'm paying <3 a gallon again

Gas is 2.90 and up here.
In Detroit Sunday I spotted a station at 2.25 for regular. |
$2.64 for Shell 93 down here, cheaper across the county line because we are a university town.
|
$2.529 for Marathon premium this morning; cheapest in town. I saw regular for two-twenty-something in rural Tennnessee Sunday.
Thank the mid-term elections. dcb |
usually denver prices run a few cents less than national average, but for some reason we are still on the high end. i was happy to see $2.899 for 91 octane premium, but most places are still close to $3.00.

2.33 for premium 2.13 for regular
it was 2.09 the other day. |
Still floating the bottom edge of 2 dollars... 2.04 to 2.24

Prices
I made a trip to Oklahoma last week and paid $2.14 (later saw a place with $2.09) in OKC, $2.39 in Western Okla, $2.42 in West Texas, but it is still $2.75 here in my small New Mexico town.
Love the lower prices. Lee |
Still about USD$3.12/gal (CAD.929/L) here
Highest it ever was here: USD$3.99/gal (CAD1.199/L) |
Last Saturday evening, I spotted two gas stations in Va at $1.97 for regular gas on my drive back home from the Subaru Challenge.

So we lose the pipeline in Alaska and the prices drop?
