found out today they are down sizing my department and pulling the equipment out, i have a few more months to find work though but this really really suxs,,

i can ether stay with the company doing something else other then printing, or find other work i have 5 years experience with printing and certified in a lot of the equipemt , i was not expecting this at all today

that bites....hrm...just burn the place down, office space style!

At the end of June we were just finishing a 2.5-year project at Outrage. Everybody had been at the office 7 days a week, 18 hours a day for the past two months. The second we had every last feature implemented and every last bug fixed, all 50 of us were fired.

Luckily I found work with a company I had worked with over the previous year and I only went 1 month without a paycheck. I hope you have similar luck. At least you have a few months to decide or find a new job!

I know how you feel. In the last year both my wife and myself lost our jobs. She was out of work for 3 months and I was lucky enough to find something 1 month later. Good Luck!
