Bummer. I actually saw him and his wife at the National Zoo a couple of years ago. They were getting a personal tour around the zoo (golf cart between the Pandas' house, etc.). Weird thing was that he was wearing what looked to be bedroom slippers and she was wearing a fur coat.

When you have been Moses, you can go out in bedroom slippers!
"Their" generation truly had some Great Men!

America has lost another great icon. From film to politics to the NRA.
He will be sorely missed.

Another that passed recently and I havent heard much mention of is Arthur C Clarke.
Not to many people know that he designed the concept of the geosynchronous satellite.

His kind were very rare. We will miss him. RIP.

He got me involved in the Stock Market!!!
When he was upset about the trash that Time-Warner was marketing, he bought T/W stock. He waited till the stockholders meeting, registered for it, requested the floor and did a 'dramatic reading' of a song that 'Nine inch Nails' had 'produced. When 'Moses' read the obscene lyrics to the stockholders, a lot of them actually were upset by 'where the profits' were comming from.
He then 'said' the ice tea 'cop killer' lyrics.....
I became inspired!! I was having a problem with my cell phone co, so I bought stock in it and COMPLAINED to the people that OWNED the company!!

I made out like a bandit!! I got all the concessions that I needed to keep dealing with them, My 'issue went away, the stock went up in value and I sold it for a 400% Profit!

THANK you Mr. Heston!!!
