That seems a little fishy to me. I never knew that. I always wished the sunroof could act as a moonroof too.

I think it must have come off of a 96, but it is not a stock item. Just my guess. He may not know that they did not come with a glass sunroof. Unless it is some rare part that we have not heard about yet. :)

I figure it's either a mistake or an aftermarket piece.

This was on ebay a while ago and I emailed the guy. He insists that it is off of a svx. There is something wrong with this. No SVX came with a glass sunroof.

Maybe it was a custom job? That does look like the panel on our cars just with glass in place of the metal. Of course it could also be one of those cheap cut a hole in your roof deals for cars without a sunroof.

I remember something like a certain model Legacy had a glass moonroof that was a direct fit. So maybe he's parting out his SVX in which someone before him had installed one. Just a guess...

I don't remember if the direct fit glass was a Legacy or an Impreza, but it was a JDM model, so I doubt this is one of them.

the sunroof panel on the svx is exactly the same as the impreza coupe. The impreza coupe was available with a glass sunroof panel in europe, so that would be the direct fit. :)

Yea if it fits and is easy to replace i would love to do this mod. Ive always wanted to make it a moonroof that can open or something to that affect as stated by myself inhe second post of this thread back in august :D

My 94 LE has a glass sunroof that was installed by the Subaru dealer when the car was new. Actually I love it except for one thing. It tries to lift up at about 135 MPH. :D
