For those of you who remember Howard Singer "catalinakid" from previous Readings, here is a humorous article about the only person to "drive" from the Los Angeles Yacht Club, California to Santa Catalina Island.

Article from 1978, when young Howard was only 37 and did this feat in his 1967 Amphibacar (which he still owns).

I had the "honor" of sharing a room at Reading with this now-73 year old, complete with red silk pajamas and a sleep apnea monitoring machine. Still a ladies man in his mind. Ask Rosie or Nan.
