Oomf..needs a bit of work, but should be repairable if someone has the time/money/effort to invest.

mysvxrocks 08-08-2007 08:07 PM

Yeah.... I wish I could have another SVX.... theres no other car like it.... but, Id like a 97 LSi :p

Tim 08-08-2007 08:32 PM

Looks like how my car was... except this is a little worse... definitely repairable!

......it's a 94 pearl. They only made 83 of them that color that year, afterwords, the color was discontinued.

Wouldnt be suprised if the dmge was LESS than tim's car, seeing as that was a bit more head on. Likely the frame is still very straight. I bet 2g out of your pocket to repair it, plus the purchase price, and you'll easilly come out a winner

earl...yo dont have a pearl, do ya? :p

XT6Wagon 08-08-2007 10:52 PM

man, that isn't even really that damaged. I'd be amazed if it got to $2K to fix it.

ensteele 08-08-2007 10:59 PM

Not a 94, but 2 that are 92s. :) :) I emailed him an offer and I will see what he says.

How did you find out about how many pearls were made in 94 Eric?

It's Just Eric 08-09-2007 12:26 AM

Some super secret information that was handed to me in a manilla envelope (Pronounced "On velope", of course...because nothing inportant comes in an envelope) by an unnamed man in a brown raincoat. His voice was cleaverly disguised, and everything he cursed, his mouth became blurry

.....Or rather mike told me so during the brief ownership of his 94 pearl....

I hope you get it Earl. Mabey you could trade say...one of your 92 pearls for one you dont have (Like...say, a 92 ebony or a 96 brilliant red)

mysvxrocks 08-09-2007 12:26 AM

I thought that they only did the 2-tone colors in 92? Did they do it in 94 as well?

P.S. Earl, I didnt think that you would actually go for it... but I figured Id give it a shot. :):)

ensteele 08-09-2007 12:38 AM

Yes, that was the only color that was 2 tone after 92 in the US and after 93 in the rest of the world. Ebony and Dark Teal were the only colors in 92 that were not 2 tone. :) A little trivia for you. ;) :D

:( I almost bought a '94 pearl acouple months ago, wish I had known that then. At least I can say i've driven a '94 pearl.

mysvxrocks 08-09-2007 12:41 AM

Well in any case... you'll have to let us know the outcome. I guess the damage doesn't look too extensive, at least from the pictures. I'm not in the market for buying right now (money being the reason :p) but I look online every once and a while to see if there are any local.
