my experience is that the +4 suck twice as much as the +2

I have the +4 in my car currently (lapse of logic). I need to get some ngk, I'm just too lazy to switch the plugs.

why do they suck you ask? The same reason a splitfire sucks, electricity searches for the shortest path, so you only ever use one lead anyway, one spark at a time all the time.

I'm probably wrong now...

I prefer the +2's over the +4's. They are a very good plug if you objective is to put them in and completely forget about the plugs for another 100+ thousand miles.

Or you can go cheap with NGK coppers for 15-30K intervals for $1 plug. Or for forced induction get irridiums from NGK spec'd for the STi just a heat range or two colder than stock. (STi plugs are pre-gapped correctly for forced induction)
