Temp gage
I have a Tranny temp. gage that is no longer connected to the tranny as the auto was replaced with a standard. So I now I have a non functioning gage. Here is my dilemma , what can I use the gage for now? Any suggestion on what I can connect it to and how? :) it is in a 3 gage cluster mounted in the old DVD slot under the radio.

Re: Temp gage
You can install a temp sensor in the drain plug of:
Then get a four way selector switch and you have access to all your oil temperatures. Or even drill and tap the thermostat cover and monitor radiator exit temp  Tapani |
Re: Temp gage
I would actually be curious about the oil temp of the front diff.

Re: Temp gage
Where would you attach the sensor? I like that idea. ;)

Any lead on where to get the sensor?

Re: Temp gage
It has to be compatible with your gauge - so try the manufacturer.
I drilled and tapped (1/8 NPT in my case) the plug myself, but you can buy these too. The NPT thread is conical so you need to pay attention. Tapani |
