timing belt bearings?

Hi All,

I'm poking my way through changing the timing belt and when I took the timing belt cover off, a couple of bearings fell out??? All of the idlers seem ok. They're tight but not too tight, spin well, and there's no squeeling or wobbling. Here's a pic of the bearings. I found 3 of them so far. Any ideas?

In this part of the world, reliable shops will not do a timing belt on any Subaru, unless the idlers and adjuster are replaced at the same time. This has proven to be very much cost effective in the long term.

This I am confident on several counts, is not a basis of ripping off customers for more money on jobs, is genuinely in there interest and IS cost effective.

I agree with Trevor on this. It may cost a little more now, but in the long run, you will save money and have peace of mind. :)
