Dash lights
 

I had an experience yesterday while driving where the dash lights came on. Not all of them. Sorry I can't remember exactly which ones. About four of them. They stayed on for about ten seconds or so and then went away. No change in the performance of the car. About a year ago I had all the wiring around the alternator etc... replaced and haven't had a problem. I took it to advance auto yesterday and they hooked up a device to check all systems. Everything checked out good from starter, battery and charging system. The only other time I had lights come on like this the alternator was on the way out. I drove it today with no issues. Thanks for any feedback if any.

it does sound like the alternator is going out. you can have odd symptoms when they start to go. could also be as simple as a loose ground or corroded battery terminal. the electronic testers used by auto parts stores are very unreliable so i wouldn't really put any weight into what they say.
