Yay it's fixed! |
Re: Do Legacy Springs Fit Our Cars?
My guess is that even if they did fit, ride height would be different since the Legacy is lighter than the SVX...

Re: Do Legacy Springs Fit Our Cars?
That's a typo. It's been that way in the Eibach catalog since the beginning of time. Legacy struts are quite different. (smaller) It's not possible.

Re: Do Legacy Springs Fit Our Cars?
Yes Danny they will work. You'd need to do some custom work as far as ride height goes. I think we have Impreza aftermarket rear springs on the front of our racer (ride height would be an issue without some perch work) for street use and the fronts are in the rear (ride height is about right). The rears are also running Impreza struts which required some shaving down of the rear mount so they would fit and a spacer where the thread goes into the mount.
Spring rates can be found via a google search. Up until the STi the stongest stock springs for any subaru was on the 99 RS although they all seem to be around 140-160 so there isn't much difference. A spring is just a spring. You can make just about any spring work provided you understand the basics.;) |
