Any interest in a perfect set of 94 rims?

Well, not perfect but damn close. These are the lighter colored OEM SVX rims with center caps that are pretty much peeled. But the rims are in great shape. Should I try to sell the whole set or just the righties individually? I'll get some photos up tommorrow.

I just scored a nearly mint red 94 L w/85K for $1000. Guy said the motor was toast and seized up on him. After towing it home, I noticed that the lower left timing idler pulley was literally sticking through the cam cover. One timing belt/water pump/pulley kit later, its purring like a kitten. Just a RR wheel bearing and some new struts in the back, and it'll be in perfect shape. Well, after I paint the usual faded parts(spoiler, under rear side windows and mirrors), it will look like new. Fortunately the top still has clear. I've never had a FWD SVX before, so I'm not sure if I can put up with the torque steer or not. Just in case, I'm already looking for an AWD. I also scored a set of new G35 rims for almost nothing so my stockers can go. Gotta love craigslist! Well, for buying anyway. And this came just a couple weeks after buying a nearly mint 92 Legacy Wagon for $400 with a "busted" tranny. I guess "busted" is open to interpretation. I took their word for it and didn't even test drive it because the condition was so good inside/out/motor. When I drove it home, I noticed a clicking noise that was present when the car was in gear, but not when moving. Then halfway home, the speedo started acting funny so I pulled over and grabbed the speedo cable and shoved it into the back of the guage cluster. Bingo! It's been driving perfectly for the last month so now its worth two grand. So someone has been smiling on me lately and I hope they keep it up. It's good to be back....again.

Welcome back. Do you still talk to the person you sold your yellow one to?

You should go play the Lotto............

What do you want for the whole set... shipped to GA 30084

FYI...UPS shipping for 2 wheels...No tires...in one box is around $50. I tried selling a set of mine before finding out they were bad. Now I'm back to paint the old 92's (cause i don't have enough time to powder coat) or get another set.

If he decides that he isn't interested, I may be. I need to know what you want for them. We won't need to ship these if I get them. :)

I forgot to mention that they have some tires on them. The front two are Toyo S4 at about 50% and the rears are Ohtsu at about 40%. They are not the greatest, but definately usable. One of the rims(I think the second one down-right front) does have a small curb mark(12 o'clock in photo) that I didn't notice until I washed the car. I would like to see if someone is interested in them with the rubber mounted on them first. All four rims to GA would be $90 shipping or $140 with tires. I'd like to see if I can get around $200 with or w/o rubber, but the market will have the final say of course. Thanks for the interest.

I included a close-up of the only nick on any of the rims. Also, a photo from eight feet away to show how noticeable it is or isn't. The nick is very shallow and might be dremel-able.

Sorry, I guess that second photo isn't very helpful.

I am definately interested. Can you gaurantee they are true...no vibrations., flat spots ect. I already have a nice looking set of bad wheels.

I know I had no contract but you could have at least honored what you typed! Thanks Earl! I was interested but you did'nt give me a chance.

elninoalex called me and I didn't know that you were not contacted or didn't turn them down. I just went forward with the deal when he called. Sorry. :o

He won't have to ship them and he wasn't very excited to take the tires off and package them for shipping. I would rather sell locally as well. I am sorry about the way it went.

svxcuseme 03-17-2008 06:49 AM

No problem..Do you happen to have a not as nice set your are replacing..94+ that you'd be willing to ship? I know you're stickler for quality OEM parts.

I'll check to see what I have. :)
