As the tagline says, wheres the best/cheapest place to buy redline atf and how much would I need to buy to have the dealer flush and my transmission?

http://www.allpartsauto.com. Can't buy online I don't think but they have a location right near here.
http://www.synlubes.com. I've ordered twice from these guys.
http://myoilshop.com. I've never purchased from here but they do sell redline.
http://www.redlineoil.com/dealers.htm. List of redline dealers.

The 4EAT holds 10 quarts of ATF so if you're gonna have it flushed that should be all you need.

If you look at the owner's manual it just recommends a fluid that complies with Dexron II, which basically all Redline ATF does. I personally bought the D4ATF because it complies with Dexron II, III, IV, etc. etc. (its all on synlubes.com). I think a couple people on the Yahoo site used the high-temp ATF which might be a good idea if you are using the stock ATF cooler. Also, Redline has excellent technical support. Call up their 800 number and ask for Dave, he can probably help you out if you are unsure.

redline atf

Thanks! Yeah i was wondering, I thought everyone had used the high temp atf, but it states taht its dexron III and the manual said dexron II.

I wonder if royalpurple atf oil is any good? Thats all they have at carparts.com with a 33 of 100 bucks :)

The way the standards work is if an ATF is Dexron IV compliant that means its also Dexron III, II etc. The newest standard always includes the old ones so using a Dexron III ATF is not bad.

I remember someone mentioning Royal Purple on here but I don't remember what thread it was. Try doing a search on it.
