That looks like McGyver's car. I am not positive though. Where did you find the picture? :)

motorsports warehouse, it was in the "customers cars" part. Those are deffinetly the first set of 5-spokes (other than stock) that I like.

I think they're called MIM wheels or something, try googling. They do look really nice.

JaySVX 12-31-2007 04:28 AM

I don't know if they're the same, probably not, but they look dangerously similar to the 5spoke rx7 wheels I have:

They are deffinetly not the RX7 rims. I hope I found out what they are :D I may just have to re-paint the Pearly to a Claret.

Yep that's my car, circa 2002 or so. :o

Wow looking at that clean look makes me miss them! :(

Those were 17" with a nearly perfect offset and weighed slightly less than the stock rims. They also had SVX logo center caps.

Trying hard to remember the brand and model - I belive Moda was the brand, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head. Will try to look more info up, but I got them from Motorsport Warehouse (hence how you found the pic), which usually means no paperwork comes with them. :D

I sold these to another SVX owner who had them on for about 6 months before he totalled the car and ruined 3 out of the 4 rims. A buddy of mine also has these on his SVX, but bought them around the same time as me so no idea if these are still made.

Here's the 18's I have now, still a clean 5 spoke look, but a thicker spoke and polished. HP Racing - Storm. I actually had no idea what they were until I saw that Dayle has them on the MSW site. :o But they fit! :D

Those look to be very much the same, although MIM was definitely not the brand on mine. Possible they are sold under different brands though, I mean that picture seems spot on. Would definitely make sure the offset is the same as mine were since the brand is different. You just never know.

Also, the Modas I had were hub-centric rims (like the stock SVX rims), which included the correct size ring inserts for the SVX hub.

Those 18's look really nice! I love thick 5 spokes on the SVX.

Yeah, ive been thinking about getting murano rims, but I cant put them on my ebony because then we'd be matching.

YourConfused 01-02-2008 07:39 PM

I bet yours doesn't have those ultra sweet looking smoked yellow headlights like mine has.

I thought this was a "what rims are these" thread, not a "hey post random pictures of your car" one
