Record times in your SVX

So far I can...

... change 2 tires from 2 different SVX and swap them using the OEM jack in 15 minutes(2 tires and a spare actually).

... pull out the CD cage and remove the CD/Tape deck under 5 minutes.

... pull out the center console in another 5 minutes

... switch from Deg F to Deg C in 10 seconds

... yank out the waterfall/97 grill in 10 seconds

what more can I do? I am bored...

Without breaking the clips? I don't think so.

Unless yours are already broken....... then, yeah.

Time yourself on a 5-speed swap and an auto swap, compare the two times then report back!

Lwin,

I'll bet you can't make those times whille you're dressed in Kelli's purple sequined prom dress.

Oh yeah, well I can drive 356 miles. Without stopping. In four and a half hours.

:D

Sidewinder 11-21-2003 09:46 AM

hmm... I didn't know you could switch from F to C. How is that accomplished?

Without breaking clips.... I have done that more than enough times that it becomes second nature. On 97, there are 4 clips, other ones only have 2 clips. 2 clips are quicker. :)

Nick, that's pretty good time. I once drove from Normal IL to Chicago in about one and half hours. Average to about 100mph I think. With I 55 full of cops, I think I call that lucky :D

Uncamitzi 11-21-2003 11:43 AM

... You can go for 4.5 hours without

I didn't stop for anything, Mitch. I did exit the freeway only once, because I blew by a cop while doing 80 in a 65, and I had a hunch he wasn't going to let me get away with it. I took the next exit, waited a bit, and saw him go by pretty quickly. Whew.

I've done trips much faster. In VT I used to drive between Burlington and Manchester, NH with the cruise set at about 110. There was just nobody around in the early morning.

I don't do that any more. I'm lucky I wasn't arrested.

SHISVX 11-21-2003 02:41 PM

let me clear something up.....there are no sequins on my purple prom dress...:(

and the only thing i know for a fact that lwin can do quick in the SVX is....

Kelli :D
