Totally O.T.

Okay, I realize this is probably a strange request, but, I recently purchased a set of Cougar clubs, here in the states. When looking for head covers, I found the site below. Much to my disappointment, they do not sell nor ship to the U.S. I'd love to have a set of the Deluxe Head covers and the Iron head covers. Do any of you guys know of a specialty store, or some other importer who may carry these? I've pretty much worn out Google trying to find another resource for these items, but, with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Randy, if I was still there I would drive over and get them myself, then post them to you - I could not, of course, stop myself from wrapping them in photos of yellow SVX's

Could your desire to use them over-ride your feelings on the bananamobiles??

*joking*

Wish I could help - if no one can and you find a UK distributor, let me know and I can try from here (London)

Cheers

James

James,
You were the first one I thought of -- I knew you'd respond just as you have, my trusted friend. But, alas, I remembered you were in the land of Piccadilly, thus, the open call -- thank you for your thoughts (aside from the icky obvious :D ). Another Google search turned up no London distributors, but I will continue to diligently search.

James,
According to information I've been able to gather, "Team Frith" is the distributor for Cougar products in England and Wales. http://www.teamfrith.com/proshop.html

From their website, I was able to get a list of stockists, however, couldn't confirm (especially from this distance) if any of them actually stocked the covers -- only a few had websites. Any of these near you?

I drive past the local golf shop every day. Can't hurt to pop in and ask!

That would be excellent and much appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry, I searched but couldn't find any Cougar golf club head covers except in Australia. I did find something you might be interested in though. Kinda similar in concept, only instead of a cougar head, you get the cougar... err... other end

darn...can't post the image :(

I have attached an image of a cougar that you can get on golf club covers - at least I think you can. Let me know if you are interested. :)

Did you check out their other offerings? I think I saw Harry and Alan in there.

p.s. Earl, I still hate Acrobat, have you ever looked into Foxit? I think Adobe took the number one slot for dysfunctional bloatware away from Microsoft.

I have not heard of it. I will look into it if it is a better way to go. I will do some searching to find out a little more. :)

I've been using their reader, it can handle PDFs also. I can usually open a doc and finish reading it before Acrobat even loads.

Yeah, that's nice, BUT, I'm wanting the "Branded" couger that's on the clubs and on the bag -- plus, it'd be difficult to explain to my friends why I'm promoting the WSU Cougars. :)

FORTUNATELY, I've found someone who will purchase them and post them to me, IF, Misanthropy didn't find them at the local golf shop -- ???

Thank you, to all who've replied.

ensteele 09-26-2005 09:17 AM

OK, I thought you just had a thing for cougars. :) Here kitty kitty kitty!!! :)

Aredubjay 09-27-2005 08:21 AM

Thank you to all who've replied. I had emailed an inquiry to an online golf shop in Oz called "Just Golf" (quite the creative name, huh?) on the day that I posted this request and just received a return email today (I'd given up on them). They told me that they'd sell me the covers at the price listed on the Cougar Golf site, plus shipping. They're adding the offering to their online store just for me! :D You Aussies are just TOO friendly.

Thank you all again -- Misanthropy for offering to stop by the local shop and Harv for offering to purchase and post the covers to me. You guys are da bomb! :D

Randy,

Why on earth would you want to club a cougar. Is it a 'zebra thing'? :D
