Crank Sensor Issue 3 Motors 3 Different Set-ups

The '97 died on the wife last week. She called me and described the symptoms. I said "crank sensor". I got the car to start and drove it home. Read the code and it was the sensor.
I tried swapping both sensors with other motors and with an Outback one I bought. Still no start.
What I discovered was rather strange. My '97 has 2 larger diameter sensors. My '92 parts car has 2 smaller diameter sensors. My spare JDM engine (unknown year)has 1 small and 1 large diameter.
I'm talking about the actual hole in the engine block where the sensor fits in.

I would like to know the part# of each of the 2 crank sensors (larger diameter) which are available and will work on my '97. It's all quite confusing.

Well I finally got it running on my own.
Somehow I had 2 bad crank sensors at the same time. Also of the four various sensors I found in my parts bins and spare engine, 3 were no good. I bought 2 new ones, one of which was usable. Beck Arnley 1800571. I had to modify them to work.
I must have removed and replaced the sensors 10 times before I finally got it running.
The key was finding out the resistance should be around 2000 ohms.

ah that is good to know, I am surprised there would be any engine block differences.
