SVX fuel injectors fit many models
I read somewhere on here that only the early Legacy fuel injectors are the same for the SVX. I just wanted to clarify this. They are the same, but only if you are using the part number for the early SVX injectors. The number supersedes several times, and with each supersession you get more and more models that use the same number.
part # 16611aa141 = 92-93 SVX, most 94 SVX, 93-94 Leg non turbo #16611aa210 = some 94 SVX, 95 SVX, 95-96 Leg 2.2, 96 Leg 2.5 #1611aa260 = 96 SVX, 96 Imp 2.2 #1611aa310 =97 SVX, 97-99 Leg 2.5, 98 Imp 2.5, 98 Forester Hope this helps. Dave |
Nice! Thank you. Is there any chance you can find out if there are any differences in flow rate or spray pattern between each of the SVX variants?

except for this...
thats doesnt mean the Maf sensor is going
to be correctly matched to the injectors, and if its not.......the car wont run correctly. |

MAF will work fine
You guys are missing the point. The numbers supersede. You can't order a 16611aa141 anymore. You can't order a 16611aa210, or a 260. They all supersede to 16611aa310. This means that any application that used a 141, 210, or 260 injector will now use a 310 injector as a replacement. The MAF has nothing to do with this and will work fine on any of them.

Thanks. I understand now.

Being lazy and not wanting to dig up my shop manual, what is the flow rate for the stock injectors?

So that means that the 141, 210, 260 and 310 all have the same flow rates.
Does it also mean that injectors from the 2.2 and 2.5 will fit BUT may have different flow rates.????? |
I dont see the point
of larger injectors on basically stock motors....
more of a waste of time and $ then anything else.. Even with a small nitrous kit I dont use or have a need for larger injectors.... |

whos gone that route yet, and those who attempting it usually have all this figured out. To me it almost suggesting those people out their with stock or mildly modded cars that its a fine mod when its not needed. As long as someone steps in and makes others aware of do's and dont's of certain mods then its a safe deal.... |
