intake vacuum sensor?

Can anybody tell me what this goes to/ what it does?

the nipples are broken off and the one I was gonna use for parts had one of them broken. just trying to to figure out if I can bypass it

icingdeath88 squared me away on this. purge solenoid. it's gonna get blocked off/ bypassed. thx again guys
