Done already. At this point, I want to keep it stock. Basically mothball it and keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible. Maybe show up to the West Coast Subaru Show in 20 years with it, lol. I might do stereo mods and some 08+ STI BBS wheels, but not looking to do much beyond that. Oh, and a 6 speed if/when the auto craps out.

If you have a tranny cooler installed, you should be able to rely on your tranny for a while, as long as it is not showing any signs of wear. You could also look into the dropping resistor mod, or a TCU from ECUtune. They will help keep line pressure up and reduve wear on your friction materials inside the transmission.

Hello all,

Sitting down here in Kirkland, WA with an 18,100 mile '96 SVX sitting under a cover in my garage. The sun is starting to come out and I need to drive! Any other Seattle-area SVX tours / drives planned for the next couple months?

Nope. Bought it from Wizard2277 in San Diego with 15,500 and drove it home to Kirkland. Great ride up Hwy 1 & 101. Was already listed on this site.

Owned my Pearl for almost a year now. Brought it up from Oregon when I joined the army. I'm in Lakewood, Wa. Just found the NW section of the forums and I look forward to attending some meets.

Hey I'm Brandon and just moved to the portland area. but i have some bad news Lexi (my 92' ebony) is currently in disrepair and I'm not too sure about resurrecting her. I hope it not inappropriate to post this here but i know how hard it can be to find parts for svx's.

If anyone wants to make an offer on a great parts car pm me and/or text me 916*778*9472
