Interesting. So how long has Suby made small engines? What other applications do they have.( I see this is for the water pump)

When it comes to small engines, I love Honda, so I would really love that one. :)

Robin is a brand owned and manufactured by FHI. I think they've only recently started to leverage the Subaru name in their marketing, even though they really have nothing to do with eachother.

Robin engines have probably been put in most of the things Honda small engines have been, but they're not real common in the US. I'm glad Harbor Freight started carrying them, though. Now I can try one out. :)

It looks like the company that makes them now only uses 3.5HP B&S engines, but the original company used 4.5HP Robins.:D

I know that I have too much time on my hands when I start to look at the left front wheel to see if it is on backwards too.

My dad has had a robin weedwacker for at least 10 years now - it still starts right up. Great engine.
