tiny scratches in clearcoat-solution?

My 94 red svx has been garaged since new but I took it to some automated car washes (I know, I know) and it is getting tiny scratches--paint still looks shiny but not as good as before. They look a little like a spider web.
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance.

start out with as fine an abrasive as you can, moving up in harshness until it is fixed (hopefully before you need new paint). Then go back the list down to produce a good shine.

here's a quick and dirty list in terms of increasing abrasiveness

wax
wax with cleaner
swirl mark remover
polish
rubbing compound
sandpaper

Use 3m Swirl Mark Remover...if that doesnt work, then try Meguiars Dual-Action Cleaner Polish.

If you wanna read more about this, and any other detailing info, check out www.autopia.org . Search for any product ever created, and i bet you there'll be 4-5 posts about it. ;)

I've used 3m swirl remover, but I do humbly admit that Medallion's Premium Paint Cleaner works the best. Then follow up with polish, then wax. Believe me, nothing works better. I've tried it all.

I too have these little scratches, but I think all I need is a quality wax, that usually gets rid of the scratches I think you are refering to.
