I'm no expert on the subject, but from what I've seen in researching exhaust for an SVX, the only aftermarket option is Stebro, which is very expensive and harder to find than our cars.

Generally speaking, a custom exhaust is the best way to go. I've read several different threads on the matter, and it seems like no two are exactly the same.

If you're just looking to replace the front cats, there are a few different aftermarket cats out there that a competent exhaust shop should be able to weld in for you (I believe they're 2" in, 2" out)

For a full exhaust, I read somewhere said to have 2" pipes go from the manifolds into a 2-in-1 Magnaflow cat, then 2.5" back to a glasspack or resonator, then into a Camaro cross-flow muffler.

There are a couple Youtube videos out there if you want to hear what they sound like.

They still exist: http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehic...AdIdZ440077222

They are in Ottawa, Ontario, only about 50 miles from me. I intend to visit them some day. They've been in business since 1963 but are infamous for their terrible customer service.

Stebros site is down for me as well. Good riddance! Product is ok but customer service is atrocious. The lifetime guarantee is laughable, a quick google search will tell you that. A self proclaimed industry leader selling on some hack classified ad? Just another ted flag.

Interesting to see that the exhaust is now being sold half price. Talk about mark up! My advice source out parts locally or from a major manufacturer and have it installed local.

Not only would I trust SVXfiles with my life, I would also trust him to design/make a better than stock exhaust system for my SVX. Sure his designs are based on trial by erron not a dino but at this point he's come up with a few options which will improve performance w/o loosing emissions acceptance. Send him a pm. I know he'd be happy to help you out with componets you can take to a local exhaust shop who can then bend the pipes and order the components. Just remember him in your will or send him some $$$ for his expertise!

Extremely expensive. More than I paid for all 3 of my SVX put together. http://svx-motorsport-accessories.st...tracstain.html The vendor is a member on this forum: Motorsport-SVX
