Sorry for the late notice, but this promises to be a fun day: Great people, great cars, great scenery, a great drive! Sounds great! :)

August 24th Tour Plan
ONE-LAP AROUND THE CASCADES 2002 SUMMER TOUR

10 to 11 AM: Meet up in Snohomish at the Java Inn, 1120 First Street http://www.javainn.com/javahtml.htm

11 AM: First Leg: Snohomish to Leavenworth (2 hrs 45 min / 92 mi)
Break: Zeke’s Drive-In (SVX Photo-Op, Cokes, off-load coffee, whatever)

2 PM prox: Picnic under the trees in the city park at Leavenworth
Bring blankets folding chairs, picnic baskets, coolers or get take-out and bring it to the park:

Pickup any Eastern Washington / Idaho SVX's joining at this checkpoint.

3 PM prox: Second Leg: Leavenworth to Cle Elum (1 hr 40 min / 52 mi)
Break: Swauk Campground (more Photo-Ops, restrooms, whatever)

4:45 PM prox: Break: Dairy Queen 302 East 1st Street, Cle Elum
Pickup any other Eastern Washington / Idaho SVX's or say "Bye" to any leaving the tour at this point.

5PM Prox: Last Leg: Cle Elum to Issaquah (1 hr 15 min / 67 mi)

END: Issaquah

Cool! Jim (Redroadster) is planning on keeping us pretty close to schedule so I suppose we'll be at the XXX around 6:30-7:00ish and probably stick around there for quite a while catching a bite and checking out some of the other makes of cars that are there. :)

Earl the Pearl will be there. I will start from the begining of the tour. :cool:

How Late are you going to be at the XXX?

I will probably be there until the cows - I mean until everyone goes home. I haven't been to one of the meets there, so I don't know how late they stay. If you want, give me a call on my cell phone and I can tell you what is going on and maybe how late we will be. It is listed on your NW Member list that I sent everyone. If you don't have it, let me know and I will email or pm you with it. :)

One last thought I had was to bring your 2 or 5 mile range FM radios. I have 2, so we can communicate as we are driving. It helps if someone needs to stop before the scheduled one.
