To all with Five speed swaps. I need some help.

Well I just broke my fifth axle on my way home from my shop. I make a left turn with moderate acceleration and the axle will separate at one end and then spin. Once it has done this it is forced back into the cup and bends the ale itself. After that I can limp the car along with lots of vibration and carrying on. I have decided that the axle is about an 3/4 to and 1 inch to short so that once installed the axle is already pulled to the end of the cup. I have cheeked the motor mounts the tranny mounts and all and have found nothing wrong with it. What I am looking for is any advice on what to do next, I am tired of breaking these and it makes for an unreliable ride. I am in Lancaster PA and looking maybe to take a new axle to a shop and have it extended. If anyone knows where a good shop for hat might be let me know. Thanks for any help and advice,

Brad the Superlative!

Check with Tom Johnson at All We'll Drive. Located in Beach haven, NJ, about 190 miles from you.

or Tom Krynock at SVXfiles Subaru Performance and Repair in Wiley Ford, WV, about 160 miles from you.

Either of these two are extremely knowledgeable and should be able to put you on the right track.
