Touch up paint

So I ordered some touch up paint from automotivetouchup.com. My 94 Pearl is supposed to be 267 but it does not match at all. Its way too white. And thats with the "groundcoat" and "midcoat" The clearcoat won't make it match either. There is no label in the door that indicates the color so everywhere I looked it up stated that it was 267 so thats what I ordered but it does not match:mad::mad: Is it the wrong stuff or what?

Oog. I haven't tried out my 267 on my Pearl. I hope I don't wind up in the same situation!

Check on the driver side strut tower an look for the paint code and see if it matches. It's probably the right color just you car is "faded" by the sun.

I would say the same thing. The paint has changed color over the years. Also, you will see differences between batches of paint. :)

If you really wanted it to match better than go to a autobody supply store and get them to use a prophet machine. it's like a camera they use to take a pic of a spot on your car for better matches. I've used it a couple times at work with good results but sometimes it can match even worse. I'ts basically a coin toss.
