Back from road trip

OK - I made it back to Maryland from Houston without calling GEICO road service once. In fact, after a 3456 mile run in 9 days, not one SVX bugaboo surfaced. All bolted on parts stayed that way. I must be way overdue for disaster. For the record: average mpg - 26.75. Cheapest premium gas - 128.9 Orange, LA. Most expensive - 166.9 in my home state of "tax me to death", MD. Average temperature - low 90's. Other SVXs spotted - NONE! ANY Subaru was scarce in the South. Best Interstate - I-65 from Mobile, AL, to Montgomery, at least most of it, & I-40 around Ashville, NC. Worst Interstate - anything around Atlanta - 5 lanes of mayhem. Most common BMW M3 wannabe - Chevy Cavalier, Pontiac Sunbird. Strangest occurance (besides Bourbon Street, 'Nawlins), total lack of bug splats the entire trip. First it's the frogs, now the insects. It's global pollution I tell 'ya!!!
Now it's back to the daily commute. Yawn. Tsu.
