1992 Subaru SVX in Pull-a-part (Knoxville, TN)

I was at pullapart today and saw that a 1992 had just been placed. It has a little under 150k on the odometer. I am not affiliated with pullapart, I just wanted to spread the word in case someone was interested.

Pullapart pricing can be found at www.pullapart.com - Pull a part, is a self-service junkyard. Meaning you go and pull the parts you want off of the car. There is not a service in place where the parts can be pulled and shipped to you.

The alternator appears to be a recently replaced reman unit. The radiator also looks new, and has a "made in china" sticker on it. The driver's side visor is floppy, but the passenger holds tight to the roof. The hood struts are weak, but the trunk struts appear to be ok. The front lights are all discolored, but not cracked. The taillights are all cracked, with the exception of the flat pieces on the quarterpanels. I pulled the inspection cover, and the timing belt appears to be intact.

When you take pictures, could you take one of the plate on the drivers side door sill tag? I can get the info for registration of the car that way. Thanks :)

Body panels & doors look good. There is wreck on here recently that could use those parts. Even the seats are not bad. That actually is not a bad repair job to do on the driver seat.

I agree, the timing belt being ok and the new alternator and radiator make me think that this motor runs well.

No problem, I will be going back out there tomorrow.

The doors have a few dings, nothing bad. The quarters have some rust bubbles just starting to show-up above the rear wheels.

Are they open on Sunday? I my be in Knoxville sunday and need some interior pieces. It is a gary interior, right?

Sorry for not checking the post, guys. No svx mean I dont get on this site much anymore. Anyway, I was there they other day and the ABS motor, alternator, and some wiring was gone. Also, pullapart is open on sundays. The interior is gray.

Picked up trunk shocks and a door sill. As of today the wheels are gone, the plastic shield on the engine is broken, looked like maybe part of the coolant system was gone because the hoses were off, driver's door panel and both door sills are gone, all rear tail lights are broken or scuffed up pretty bad except the outside one on the passenger side, CD player is gone and all the plastic trim including lids are busted up, passenger seat is gone (driver's one there but not in the greatest shape, rear glass is gone and I think one or two other pieces were broken, but I can't remember which, center console is missing lid, button and the access panels, HVAC display is busted up. Stupid e forgot to check the visors and I need one!

This thing is picked pretty clean now. Engine gone, Dash gone, door panels and most of the interior gone.
