Total 4.11/4.44 4EAT's on the network?
 

A thread like this was started for the 5/6 MT members so I figured one for the 4.11/4.44 people was in order.

I know that several members (new and old) are in the process of upgrading such as GrahamG92LSL, SVXRide and NeedForSpeed, but it's hard to truly put a figure on how many are actually out there on the roads.

A short list follows - please add to it guys:

1) SVX-FF 4.11
2) SVXFiles 4.44
3) Boxer6 4.44
4) Chiketkd 4.11
5) Lee 4.11 (just completed this weekend! :) )

that was me for about a month - had to recharge the checking account (to get fluids, seals, etc.) :D

BTW, my wife will kill me for this, but if anybody needs space & tools to do the job, and are willing to do it on jackstands in my garage, I have all the tools and can consult if needed....but note that is not the same as volunteering to do the job.

I'd take you up on that if not for the fact that I"m pretty far

I am not afraid to admit swapping out my stock gears. I bought my 92 SVX with 89,000 miles knowing it had a bad tranny, half shaft, dents,and oil leak. Cost only and extra 1500 to fix all but the dents.

God I love this car.

Just a guess, but I don't think Bill is afraid to admit in the sense of being ashamed, but more along the lines of moving him into the prepared class for AutoX events.

I'd agree with Lee...I think SVXRide has gone into stealth mode....just think of the look on peoples' faces when a stock-looking SVX lays the smack down on them (but that would be wrong, right?):eek:

Not at all...you could just tell them the secret's in the juice! :p

Honestly though, 4.11 gears are the ultimate 'sleeper' mod and would definitely help Bill in both AutoX and Drag Racing...
