April 05th, 2001 30
April 04th, 2001 41
April 03rd, 2001 33
April 02nd, 2001 68

Whats really odd is Saturday we had TWO posts all day and only 11 on Friday. Another odd issue is that board activity last month averaged 70-121 posts per day. Oh well.

Hey Chris, just goes to show all the gabby cabbies are in Reading. Don't feel so lonely, we're all out here looking in to see if you guys are keeping busy.

Congratulations to Sith as Administrator, things can only get better, mammoth work being done in the background in true Club spirit.

Joe:)

Joe:)

Go back to the old site for a visit. I've been involved with 3 fellas that just can't tick me off enough. It's been a banner day for me over there. I like trying to help people, but these retards are really irritating me. But you are going to have to start at the beginning of the posts and that will be a long drawn out process, I've been rebutting and posting all day trying to get these guys to admit they don't know squat. It ain't working.

svxxx26 04-08-2001 07:19 PM

Eddy, whatever you & the retards were into must have blown the place up, because I can't get the Yahoo site to come up - "temporarily unavailable".
Strange feeling, though - somehow I'm getting this strange sensation that I'm in agreement with the retards!

svxistentialist 04-08-2001 07:23 PM

Eddy, I've been watching it. You guys need to chill out a bit. Some of these guys looking for information[incl me!] by definition don't know much, are ill informed, and could be viewed as innocent or ignorant, depending on your point of view. Some are not all that articulate detailing what their problem is too.
Don't get too het up, people respect your knowledge and experience or they wouldn't ask the questions in the first place.

Looking forward to some feedback on the Reading meet tomorrow.

Joe.

Stay

Whatever, I'm too tired to post all the details. Do what you want. I finally got one of them to acknowledge he was wrong and apologize.

No, the statement that the one fella made was quite straightforward and wrong. It hasn't ended yet, but I don't particularily like being called an old dumbass because I have a bunch of experience on something that he has only read about.

Ask me any question, phrase it as best you can. Accept my response or don't, but don't start telling me I don't know anything. I will to the best of my abilities help anyone that asks me a question. I expect a certain amount of respect for that, much like a doctor giving a diagnosis, if you aren't happy with the outcome, get a second opinion. It's just unfortunate that it seems to be young people all the time, it looks like I'm picking on them because of age, but I'm trying to educate them and keep getting beat up over it. I can really respect teachers now!

Ah well, life's short enough, I guess I shouldn't get worked up over the inconsequential BS.

I'M BAAAAAAACCKKKK!!!

Hope You and Roni had a great time at the walk. I'm trying to catch up. Micah and I arrived home at around 10:30pm -- We left PA at around 9am Central Time. It was a great meet, although only 19 cars arrived. I missed haveing some of the others there, and meeting some new folks who were planning on coming. Still, a great time! I'm sure things will liven up more. I'll talk later -- back to "catching up" for now.

Eddy, I was able to check out the posts you referred to on Yahoo - all I can say is that I owe you a HUGE apology! I'm also sorry I wasn't there to back you up, but maybe it was for the best - it probably would have only thrown more gas on the fire!

Oh, BTW - I just discovered a SECOND SWITCH on my shifter. So does that turn off 6th gear or disable the catalytic converters, or both?

Geez, Aredub - it's about time! I swear, the place turned into a ghost town!
There was a good old fashioned flame war on Yahoo - but I missed that too (computer probs again).

BTW, the MS Walk went great - thanks MUCH for you MOST GENEROUS donation! :)

Wasn't anywhere near what I'd like to have given! Tell Roni I'm going to bring spam to the cookout in the Smokies. Maybe I'll whip up some Spam Parmesean for her . :D

Exactly. No need to pop a vein over that kinda stuff. That's why, if threads begin to heat up like that here, they will be quashed quickly! No need for "mud" slinging.

So what you are saying is that on this site posts get eliminated if someone doesn't like them? Don't get me wrong, but that just ain't right if that's what you're trying to say. I ran a local BBS before we had internet access in this area, and I only deleted posts that were vulgar or tasteless in nature...i.e. people using foul language.

As much as I got beat up over the weekend, I still respect the right of those idiots to express their opinions. They, after all were the ones making asses out of themselves.
