I was wrong (public announcement). Tampa came to play while Phily did not.

The celebration here was amazing! i went to the stadium and had to litteraly drive thru a gauntlet of people. There were hundreds of people in the street leaving a path just wide enough for a car to drive thru..."high fiveing" all the way! Horns honking, people riding on top of, outside of and thru the sunroof of so many cars and trucks. There was even a semi-tractor (no trailer) with a huge Bucs flag driving up and down the main drag next to RayJay Stadium. Somebody had a horn that sounded like a train. I never could figure out who's it was although there was a Geo Metro I supected. (Oxy-Moron) I spent about three hours there with lot's o' drunks, fanatic fans (redundant), and alot of crazy people! The SVX got a ton of stares last night.

Then I left and started driving up the main drag toward home and got caught in a traffic jam. I could see Police lights up ahead. I was in a great mood so I didn't car about the delay. I figured some dillweed ran into a car in front of him. When I finally got to the accident scene there was a smashed up car and someone lying on the ground with a sheet nearly completely covering them. DAMMIT! Why do people have to be so stupid instead of just having fun.

Needless to say, the whole festive atmosphere was gone for me. I heard it on the news a few minutes later that a pedestrian had been struck and killed. :(

I think, perhaps, Larry was referring to the beard and receding (mine much more than yours) hairline. :rolleyes:

Larry hasn't seen me in a while, though. I've gone goatee and plan on dropping several pounds by Reading IV. Perhaps he won't recognize me.

NO! HONEST! That pic was taken by Steve Wasion at Autofest 2K1. Although John Hoffman (SVXcess) "augmented" it a bit, as an irritant (for which I called him a turd), it is indeed me and my lovely wife, Shari.

Some cars do look good in yellow....

Ok, I'll believe you. What was the augmentation? Did he make your beard grayer? Write "SVX" on your shirt? LOL (Like I don't know about Randyi and yellow)

I remember the "turd" contraversey. I thought the pic was of someone else however. I'll reserve whether I think I was insulted or not as I don't want to appear to be sucking up to the Pres.

John colered my Pearl White car yellow, made my sweater yellow (it was beige and light brown), put SVX on the sweater, and put "Banana Republic" on the bank building behind me. It took me a year to get over the shock of that pic.

No need to worry 'bout being insulted. When people hear my name for the first time, many say "oh, you pitch for the Diamondbacks." I say, "Not quite. I'd love to have THAT guy's money, but not his looks." Since I have neither looks, nor money, you have my permission to be insulted. :p
