I have never seen anything like this, everywhere I go it is smokey, everywhere! North, south, east, west :o and it looks like they were still able to get a little one behind us out today :p 3 cheers for the fire fighters!!! Can I fly the tanker and drop the pink snot please? :lol:

The air quality is really bad right now. I wish Ca would stop burning! Today was pretty bad. There is no escape from the fire. I was in Santa Cruz over the weekend, and man o man there were fires everywhere. :confused:

Fire bugs? We had a freak dry lightening storm Saturday, but I have heard no viable explination as to why the huge number of fires keep starting, armageddon? The numbers kept rising, at 500 seasoned fire officals had never seen anything like it, then it hit 700+, last I heard was yeasterday at 842, who knows what it is today :(

Edit- as of now total is at 1026 fires :O

Just got back from San Francisco today. You're right, smokey, not foggy. Was in Santa Cruz on Monday...the whole drive down was "cloudy". On the bright side, you live in a beautiful place. And the food's not bad either!
Hope they get them put out soon.

Zip, nil, nada, none! Our spring and creek are at late Augest levels by mid June :(
