Just realized I hadn't posted this over here:o.....I must be getting old...:)

Got the Dragon 2011 Meet Room/Cabin discounts set up.
Where: Fontana Village Resort, NC
Dates June 24th & 25th 2011(they said we'd get the same rate the days leading up to it, if we have any getting there early)
Tell them you are with the "Subaru Alcyone Group"
The reservation number is : 800-849-2258
They are as follows:

(7) Lodge Double rooms @ $89.00 a night
(5) 2-Bedroom Laurel Cabins @ $119.00 A night

Can get discounted rates on other rooms / cabins, as they are available, but these just represent what they are "Reserving" for us.

The "Cut off Date" for them to hold the rooms / Cabins is April 24th, so make your reservations before then!

Please post a reply to this thread when you reserve your Room or Cabin.

Thanks Huck, I might make it down in the wedge this year but probably won't know for sure until after my pools open and if I can get my summer kid through his certs by then. Lets see, 10mpg, 1400 miles at $4 a gallon and you're talking about a discount for the room?:lol:

I"ve stayed in their Cabins before, nothing really memorable. Never been on the Dragon in a 4 wheel vehicle unless it was towing motorcycles. Great motorcycling road, that and the Cherohala Skyway..... Gonna give it some thought since i can't make the Reading Rally since they've changed the SVX Rally to May instead of April. Might as well make some rally this year....

We'd love to have you, I think we're going to have 3 XT6's with swapped engines in them present, 2 with EG33's, and one with a EZ30

This is the last week to get the "Group Rates" at Fontana, so if you're thinking about it, you need to reserve a room or cabin this week

I'm out again this year. Something about an untreated broken ankle and a 9 hour drive on oxy doesn't sound wise to me.
