New addition to the Subaru family
Those who have me on Face-thing may have seen this already. Just put a deposit on this and picking it up next weekend:
http://www.subaru-svx.net/photopost/...ith_Enkeis.jpg 2008 Legacy Spec B, super clean, mature owner, nicely modified. It's running a COBB Stage 2 tune, SPT cat back, AVO top mount, catted downpipe of a brand I've forgotten, Enkei Raijin wheels and Hankook tires, Kartboy short shifter, Swift springs and a couple other things. What a blast. Stage 2 is awesome fun, the car pulls so well and smoothly. With the Kartboy shifter it really feels like a more modern, more refined version of my SVX. I can't wait to get this thing home. |
Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Nice! I really liked my LGT. It was a beast in the snow with some Blizzaks.
Cant tell from the photo, but it looks like it has the sport grille - big improvement appearance-wise from the stocker. |
Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Nice. I like those a lot. That body style is much better than the current one.

Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Very nice Chris. I was looking for one earlier this year but couldn't find any that were in good condition/low mileage.

One of my favorite Subie's, beautiful. Good luck and many safe miles.

Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Thanks folks! Good to see my choice of sibling for the SVX is approved
Just waiting to finalize the paperwork and then I'm down to Toronto on the 27th to pick it up. |
Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Those are definitely the last cars subaru made that i liked. It's a shame about the turbo and engine issues though. I hear the later ones are better.

Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Congrats on a great looking and probably really fun car!
On a bynote, what is the difference between a SpecB and regular issue? Engine, exhaust, dampers and brakes? |
Re: New addition to the Subaru family
Engine and brakes are standard issue Legacy GT. The Spec B gets a 6MT, Bilstein dampers (which is what the B stands for), aluminum control arms, leather/Alcantara seats, and nav system.
Just waiting on the bank to approve my loan for the car and then off to pick it up next Saturday. |
