Hey, I have recently Acquired a 92 black svx with about 52 000km (30,000ish miles). I know there are problems (no problems with mine right now) with the tranny and brakes. Any recomendations? Have many people done the 5 spd swap? Any help will be greatly appriecated. Thank you

I wouldn't be looking for a 5 speed just yet. If you're really interested save your money for if/when the tranny eventually fails. You're better off right now to install a transmission cooler (from anywhere that has one that fits) and possibly the shift kit (from smallcar.com) to extend the life of your tranny.

The only other things to be concerned about are rubber pieces that may have deteriorated over the years.

A transmission filter would be good too. :)
