92 Subaru SVX with 2007 WRX 5 speed transmission for sale

The conversion was done by All we’ll drive (AWD) in NJ when they were still in business with a 2007 WRX low mileage 5 speed transmission. Short throw shifter was installed at the same time. Clutch and related parts also replaced with Exedy stage 2. This was done by previous owner.

ECU was upgraded and installed by OT with ECUTune 1AV1 during 2012 reading meet.

The engine was replaced by Nate at my house with a low mileage unit and timing belt water pump and all related parts was transferred from the orinigal engine which just had the timing belt replaced before the headgaskets went bad. The engine runs strong! No leaks. PCV, misc hoses clamps and coolant hoses/radiator cap were replaced at the same time.

Cat was replaced with magna and 2 brand new O2 sensors installed

New ignition starter switch.

Sunroof was disconnected since its hard to open or close. I never have the need to use it.

STI BBS wheels will be sold with the car. You can pick if you want the gold, silver or OEM.

Brakes are brand new from R1 concept premium rotors and Hawks pads. I also have Dales SS brake hose but not installed yet.

Brand new battery Max everstart from Walmart.

New AC pulley bearing. AC blows cold. Need to lube the track for blower.

Hood and trunk struts are replaced with OEM ones.

No rust!!! I never drive this car in snow, so was the previous owner. The car was painted at some point and who ever painted the car did a good job. But for some reason the roof is faded. No accident that I know of. A few dents as you should expected from a car of this age. All glasses are in good shape. Windshield had a small crack in it but it was repaired. There is condensation in the right tail light. Trunk is also moist, I think it's the water leak thru the tail light.

Interior is good shape except driver seat and door panel. They are still very presentable. There is one tear bet the seam and couple of holes in the back seat cushion. Sunvisors are excellent shape. No drooping! Steering wheel leather is a little wore spots. Radio was replaced with a 2002 outback Weather band/radio/CD unit with Subaru subwoofer mounted under driver seat. Sounds great! No wiring ever been cut. Radio door closes as it should, plus the space below provide extra space for storage. Also almost new driver window switch with auto up and down feature, must have for manual transmission!

The carfax showing the inconsistent odometer reading in 8/21/03. Way before I own the car. I was told by previous owner it was clerical error.
Clean PA title in my name ready to go.

My interest has shifted to different direction so that’s why I am selling.
I described the car to the best of my knowledge. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I will lower it to $4500 OBO if you don't want the STI wheels/tires.

I decided that this would have been a tough car to teach the kids to drive a stick on but I have to say it is a great manual svx for those that are interested in one. You just took care of nearly all of the main flaws aside from the black paint and that one small flaw on the bumper. A good paint shop could easily get this in great shape. And I think you have the best manual for this car. Good performance while also getting good mileage. Good luck with the sale.

I should add that yes, I did do the engine swap. At that time, the oil pump was resealed, valve cover gaskets were replaced, rear main seal and rear separator plate. The water pump and timing parts were swapped from the original engine as they were very low mileage and in great shape (basically new). The list goes on. This is a great car mechanically that should be set for a few years before needing service again. :)

Speaking from experience. That is a heck of a deal. When I bought my 94 for aprox the same money I was skeptical at first. Turns out to be well worth the money. If I did not have the car I have now I would be coming down for yours. Looks great and the $ seems fair for what you are selling. Good luck with sale. Some one will be very happy with it. All they have to so is drive it once with the 5 speed and it will sell.

Speaking of of All we’ll drive (AWD) in NJ, what ever happened to them? I visited them once and they seemed to be doing a good amount of work. It was a convenient location for the offroad Subaru community too, being so close to the Pine Barrens.
