Spring Spacers?

So i just got new murano wheels on my SVX but the rears slightly rub on the outside fender when i hit a bump or corner hard. I still have the stock struts and springs so they're not adjustable at all, and i dont have the money to buy anything major. But I was lookin around the internet and found these:

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...=group_listing

http://www.jegs.com/i/Mr.+Gasket/720/1285/10002/-1

Has anyone had any experience with any of these? Or any other suggestions that i could do to raise my car about an inch?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Should work, but I wouldn't count on those as a permanent solution. The ideal thing would be to go to a stiffer spring with the same ride height and limit suspension travel over bumps.

If I ever do get around to fitting STi suspension into my car, I may look into also fitting Forester suspension for winter, to lift it up and give me some extra ground clearance:D

Do you know off hand what the diameter of our stock springs are? I can't get in behind the wheel to measure it.

No, sorry. I'm sure there's someone who can tell you, or at least someone who has a spring out of the car that they can measure.

They'll raise it but will also take a link out of action for the suspension which will make your springs weaker and then you'll be more likely to rub over bumps. You're better off making a spacer which goes atop or at the bottom of the spring between the collar or top mount and the spring.

I think that's what the first one is, you can see there's a notch for the end of the spring. Putting it back together will be a pain though, you're going to have to heavily compress the spring just to get that nut on.
