S'funny how stuff that went around comes around - decades later. Many moons ago, in Mad Magazine, (I think) t'was a "feature" that listed products suited for the family that just wanted to be "average", & not stand out.
Testimonials went something like this. "Yup, just got my Robert Hall sport coat, moved into my 3 bedroom 1 bath pre-fab rancher, & splurged on a nice beige '53 Dodge Coronet sedan. Yeah, ya' gotta' be of a certain age to remember Robert Hall.

Ron (aging greatfully).

The true irony here, is that Subaru 2010 are very mediocre!!! I can barely tell the difference between a new Legacy/Liberty and a new Camry! The WRX looks like every other hatchback and what can I say about the Tribeca.....

Produce a new SVX, re-style the entire range or SHUT UP about mediocrity, Mr SUBARU!!

Don't you mean Subarus from 98-2011? There is a reason there isn't one in my sig anymore.

I thought EXACTLY the same thing. Subaru doesn't make anything that even slightly interests me anymore. I used to be a real subaru fan, too!

i agrees. 2006 Legacy was the last decent-looking Subaru, IMHO.

now i can't even get a turbo automatic, or an STi with a DSG transmission, so the goofy styling doesn't even matter.

I keep casually looking for a Baja with my name on it (saw one listed recently for TWENTY THREE GRAND! Good grief.), but add me to the ranks of those who have become disenchanted with Subaru. I walked around a new Outback in a parking lot the other day and thought, why do they keep doing this?

And when are they going to introduce something new? Something I'd actually want to buy (if ever I could afford a new car)?

In fairness to Subaru, I see very few new cars that are easy on my eyes.

sell you my Baja for 20k. That is the deal of the week!!!!!!!!! :D

I'm ok with the new OB but the sedans are boring. They almost make a Camry look good. I drove a new OB a few weeks ago and it was really nice and the CVT was Ok but to get one like I want it would be 30k and it would still be a 4cyl. That is nuts. What ever happened to "Inexpensive and built to stay that way."
