Seat rail inquiry

Quick question: does anyone know how any special way to seperate the sliding seat rails on a power seat? I need to remove th lower part (that actually bolts to the floor) from the upper part (that ataches o the rest of the seat frame) for a little project of mine.

Did you get the seat out? Now are you trying to get the rail off of the seat? Just wanted to check to see what you need to do. :o

Mmm...trying not to reveal much of what I'm planning....but yes, the seats are out. Im not removing the entire rail, as thats not possible for what I plan to do. I do, however, need to remove just the lower portions of the rail.Lets just say I'm making frankenseat, and am going to be making some modifications to one set of lower rails so they fit the other set of lower rails in the way that they need to fit :p . now to answer any obvous questions:
Yes

That was the hardest part of the WRX seats. The drivers rails are a lot more involved than the passenger. Knowing that the seats were not going to be used again I just started undoing every possible bolt in sight.

Yeah, I looked at theese things and went "Okay, I just need to take theese two bolts off, then that..and then I should be able to slide theese right off"
It would seem they have stoppers or something that hold them together permanently.....Ill have a better look in coming days
