How many SVX's built?
 

I'm sure this question has been asked (and answered) many times, but I've heard and read several conflicting answers.

I've heard as many as 60,000 to as few as 20,000 cars. Maybe the 60,000 was a world total and the 20,000 was a U.S. total?

In either case, these numbers represent an extremely small production run, which obviously would account for the relatively rare number of daily sightings.

Anyway, just curious.

There were total of 25,000 produced (approx word wide) and only 14,257 were imported into the US. I believe about 6000 odd were sold in Japan and the rest to the remaining parts of the world.

Those numbers would be great!! As you may know, I have been trying to complile a list for each market (South Africa sold one from memory) and I know that Joe Devine is also keen on a tally.
